BlueRay Decrypter

muslix64 has done it again. There is now a BluRay decrypter available for anyone that wants to remove the DRM from their BR disk.

This is an early version and has the bellow limitations :

  • Don't support BD+
  • Don't support Volume unique key
  • Only support one CPS unit key per disc
  • I don't clear the HDMV_copy_control_descriptor in the stream
  • Don't have any FAQ or document so far…
  • You have to provide your own CPS unit key
  • The playback seems to work with VideoLan

However it works, so get yourself a copy. BackupBluRayV001

SkyByBroadband Suspended

It seems that the 'crack' for the Windows Media Codec's Digital Rights Management has forced BSkyB to suspend the Sky By Broadband system.

FairUse4WM has been around in various forms for a while now, but the latest release has bypassed Microsoft's latest versions of DRM.

Microsoft rushed a fix out in an attempt to stop the problem, however a new version of FairUse4WM was released that has bypassed Microsoft's fix.

As it currently stands, you can strip DRM from individual files. However a memo that was sent from Microsoft has promised a solution shortly.

For more information on this subject, I recomend a look at the Doom9 Forums

Or download the latest version (1.2-Fix) from Here
