Back!
Yup I am, back from my holiday.
Croatia is certainly a good place to visit! Pore? (said Porech). We popped along to Venice as well, also a lovely place to visit, although I don't think you could spend too much time there, long weekend break at best.
The flight to Pula is about 2 hours from the UK, and the airport of Pula is very 'basic'. The people and places however are all nice, and the facilities for the most part are of European standard.
The one slight downside to the place is the hotels where mostly built in the 60's and are only now being modernised, the hotel we stayed in did not have aircon throughout, but the places that had been modernised where very good. The temperature although high (30-33C) was not oppressive in the rooms however, and the breeze from the sea kept everything manageable.
All in all well worth the visit.
