My current favorite toy of the day is Synergy, this neat Little application allows you to share a single mouse/keyboard and clipboard across multiple machines without needing any special hardware. Think of it as a super KVM in software.
It’s not quite monitor sharing for multiple machines as you cannot drag applications between machines (that would be neat). But it’s still brilliant.
If you have more than one machine (or like me have 2 separate KVM’s) then this could help. Now if they could only share monitors themselves via software
