As I have written before, I really dislike when people take the piss driving fast cars. I love to drive fast, but I have some common sense (I believe) about it and only do it in safe area’s (track’s and runways mostly).

Anyway more information has sprung up on the crashed Enzo of Stefan Eriksson. It seems that he was believed to have owned 2 Enzo’s and a Merc SLR. However there is now dispute about that, it seems the SLR is reported stolen at Scotland Yard, and a Scottish bank has said that it is the actual rightful owner of the crashed Enzo!

So then Stefan, you where not driving (although your blood is on the steering wheel), you where not intoxicated (blood alcohol level above limits), you where not racing a Merc SLR (that’s reported stolen), and you obviously where not traveling too quickly (as your Ferrari hit a bump in the road and careened off into a lamp post at a calculated speed of 162mph).

People like this should not legally be allowed to purchase cars like this, it’s criminal. I bring back my thought’s that if you are going to buy an exotic car like this you should have to do your BRDC licence or equivalent. Supercar manufacturers should take it upon themselves to make sure the people that buy there cars are capable.
