Seems McLaren have got themselves a bit of a coo on there hands as it has been announced that they have signed Alonso for 2007!

This may add weight to the rumors that Kimi is going to move to Ferrari (it has been denied, but hey stranger things have happened).

That also add’s weight to the rumor that Flavio wants Mark Webber in the Renault team else why else would he have let Alonso go (he is Alonso’s manager!), unless Alonso just did not want to stay at Renault? Faure (head of Renault F1) say’s he is dissapointed in Alonso’s desision.

Looks like 2007 could be a doozy!

In other F1 news, Gustav Brunner is leaving Toyota with the probability of heading over to Team Torro Rosso (Red Bull), he was brought in from Minardi originally so he will possibly be ‘going home’.

It seems as well that the Super Aguri team will make it onto the grid for the Bahrain GP at the start of the 2006 championship.  It is still believed that they will run re-vamped Arrows 2002 chassis with the Honda powerplant behind them. There are rumors afoot though that the team will try and introduce an in house developed chassis (read ‘Honda’ chassis here) for the European section of the season, I wonder if they will have much in common with the BAR 05 car? Only time will tell.
