MotorSport Weekend
Not a bad weekend on the Motorsport front, with france doing pretty well in all fronts. France won both races in the A1GP series from Portugal, and to top it off Sebastien Loebe won the WRC race by winning all 12 of the stages on the rally of Corsica.
However it did not all go France’s way, as Gary Paffett came third in the DTM over the weekend to take the title for the Brit’s there. (German touring cars btw)
Marco Melandri won at the challenging Istanbul circuit for his maiden win in the MotoGP series, good on him, he deserves it, certainly been better than his team mate (Sete Gibernau) over the caurse of the year.
Also yesterday (Monday) Michael Schumacher had a go on the Duccati MotoGP bike and really did not set the pace, he was 20seconds slower than the bikes where running at Muggelo earlier in the year. It’s probably safe to say that he will not be making the switch to two wheels. However some good news at the Marlboro sponsered team’s. It seems Barrichelo was allowed to take his family and friends out in the 3 seater Ferrari as a goodbye present. Nice.
